The Spector Family Foundation
The Spector Family Foundation was founded as a vehicle to promote the charitable interests and passions of the Spector Family. These interests and passions include non-profit work, philanthropic services, and charitable donations. Artie Spector is a principle supporter of the Spector Foundation.
Based on the principle that Philanthropy is best advanced when there is a clear line of sight as to its direct impact on society, the Spector Family Foundation chooses to align itself with organizations whose missions are complimentary and whose impact is real.
The Spector Family Foundation is a founding member and supporter of the Nevada Cancer Institute (NCI), a nonprofit organization committed to reducing the burden of cancer by pursuing the development of a comprehensive cancer center. The Spector Family Foundation and NCI are dedicated to lessening the physical, emotional and financial burden of those fighting the debilitating effects of cancer.
The Spector Family Foundation is also a proud supporter of The Cleveland Clinic Lou Ruvo Center for Brain Health (LRCBH), a non profit organization dedicated to the conquest of Alzheimer, Huntington, Parkinson, Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), and all forms of memory disorders. Partnering with The Cleveland Clinic, the Lou Ruvo Brain Institute, has created a highly specialized clinical center, providing state-of-the-art care for these disorders and for the family members of those who suffer from them.
